What do students do on the first day at Cloud Nine College?

On February 3rd, 2020 Cloud Nine College had more than 30 intake students from six different countries. Students come to Cloud Nine College to experience life in Canada while learning English and also improving their IELTS score.

On the first day, students take a placement test to check their levels of English with grammar, speaking and writing tests. After the test, all new students are given an orientation on many different topics on the campus rules and Vancouver life. More than 130 students from 10 other countries are currently studying at Cloud Nine College.

The regular classes run from 9 am until 3 pm and after 3 pm some motivated students take free study clinics to immerse themselves in more practical English and learn as much as possible. Topics for the study clinics vary from week to week based on the themes requested and recommended by the students.

Cloud Nine College started as a language training institution back in 2010 and it has now expanded into providing career training programs:

Hotel and Restaurant Management Co-op Diploma
Hotel and Restaurant Management Co-op Certificate
